Privacy Policy
What we collect, and who sees it.
Your statement and messages are visible only to the people you’re matched with and to KeyBee staff reviewing the match, never to a school, never to anyone else. We don’t sell data, and we don’t share it with a destination school without your say-so. Email and phone stay off your profile entirely; nobody sees them unless you choose to share them yourself.
A school’s name is always shown; its logo only once it has authorised KeyBee in writing to display it, and it can withdraw that at any time.
This is the short version. For exactly what we collect, why we’re allowed to, who processes it and where, and your rights under GDPR, .
Terms of Service
What using KeyBee means.
KeyBee is a network, not a recruitment agency, not a marketing channel for any university, and not anyone’s representative. It makes an introduction between a student and alumni whose own move resembles the one they’re considering, what happens after that is between them.
It’s free, and it stays free, no fees, no tuition figures, no commission, for anyone. KeyBee never states or implies a chance of admission, and what an alumnus says is their own experience, not their school’s position; KeyBee doesn’t verify it beyond what they’ve written about themselves.
An account that doesn’t follow the Community Guidelines below can be suspended or removed. Anything arranged between a student and an alumnus, a call, a meetup, an application, isn’t run through KeyBee and isn’t KeyBee’s responsibility.
Community Guidelines
How we expect people to treat each other.
- Be who you say you are. No fake profiles, no impersonating another person or a school.
- Speak from your own experience only, not for your school, and not about a programme you didn’t attend.
- No selling, soliciting payment, or recruiting on anyone’s behalf.
- No promising or implying a chance of admission, nobody on KeyBee can guarantee that, including KeyBee.
- Be respectful. Harassment, threats, or unwanted contact get an account removed.
You can block or report anyone, from any conversation, at any time, see Report a Problem below.
